About Me
I have been passionate about music for over 40 years and while I have been classically trained in piano and orchestral bass, I also have experience with guitar, bass, drums, and electronic music. My musical background includes stage productions, orchestra and band, jazz ensembles, rock/blues/country bands, weddings, praise and worship, and more.
Besides music, I also enjoy computers, photography, video production, movies, tennis, golf, and music listening.

Music
I studied piano for 12 years with several teachers including Ellen Deane Schweiger, Dr. Paul Wirth, and Dr. Tom Allen. I played the double-bass in Orchestra and Jazz Ensembles at St. Cloud Technical High School and St. Cloud State University, and was a member of the 1992 All State Orchestra and won several state level competitions for solo and ensemble performances. Over the years I've been a member of several rock, blues, country, and Christian bands including; Living Waters, Dixie North, Sunday Driver, Fish Jam, Stirling, 5-Star, Cruise Control, and Glorydaze. Although I am not currently teaching, I did give private lessons on piano, guitar, and bass for 20 years including 2 years at the Wirth Center for Performing Arts (https://www.wirthcenter.org).
Computers
As a Micro Computer Studies minor, I discovered that I have no interest in programming. But, I do enjoy system administration, and general tinkering. This has led me to pursue a career path that has been highly rewarding. Since then I have worked at Best Buy, Midwest Computer Exchange, Emerald Data Processing Services, Bankers Systems, WoltersKluwer, Perot Systems, Dell Services, and NTT Data Services. I've done everything from selling computers, to database manipulation, and hardware repair at the smaller companies, then on to Help Desk, Desktop Support, Network Administration, and for the the final 10 years: SAP BASIS.
In 2017, I began a new role at Joshua24.com/NameBrandWigs.com as the primary website/database/catalog management/digital marketing person where I learned a completely new aspect of computers from the E-commerce perspective.
At home, I have a constantly changing environment with a mixture of Microsoft, Apple, and Linux based machines performing various functions. And in my spare time I am often repairing or upgrading computers for others.
