1981 Honda CM400 Custom

By the time we got married, my dad had sold the old Honda 500T to my uncle. My new bride was interested in learning to ride so I went looking for a bike I thought we could both ride comfortably. I found a good deal on this one in 1998 for $500.00, so we scooped it up. Granted it was smaller than ideal for me, but it was pretty much perfect for her. It's power wasn't astounding, but it was adequate for our needs and I used it for a short time to commute to work. It handled great so April, and another friend both used it to pass their riding tests. Eventually, I got my own bike, and it got a lot more difficult to get out and ride for April once we started having children so we sold it around 2005. I would highly recommend one of these for someone's first bike, especially since they can be bought for relatively little cash. Again, I don't have any pictures of our actual bike, but here's one that looks just like it...
